Overview
Design Brief
This project is a case study and redesign of Ctrip mobile app. To optimize the user experience, I used the Jacob Nielsen's 10 UX heuristic principles to evaluate and analyze Ctrip's flight booking task flow. Then I upgraded the "search flight" and "flight filter" interface to fix the current pain points and added a "shopping cart" section to deal with the short-term memory load burden of users.
Key Challenges
How to combine design trends to innovate vision while inheriting Ctrip's brand characteristics?
How to make the "search flight" page more visually intuitive and novice-friendly?
According to the user's mindset, how to optimize the "round-trip flight selection" page and multi-dimensional filters?
How to deal with short-term memory overload issues when users comparing different flight combinations in multiple dimensions?
